Designed and built a modern SaaS invoice management platform with multi-tenant architecture, Stripe billing integration, and automated workflows.

The Challenge

A startup client had a vision for a modern invoicing platform targeted at freelancers and small businesses. They needed a scalable SaaS solution that could handle multiple subscription tiers, provide a seamless user experience, and integrate with popular accounting and payment platforms. The platform needed to be built efficiently to get to market quickly while maintaining the flexibility for future growth.

The Solution

I architected and developed InvoicePro from the ground up as a cloud-native SaaS application. Key features included multi-tenant architecture with data isolation, tiered subscription plans with Stripe billing integration, customizable invoice templates with brand theming, automated payment reminders and late fee calculations, QuickBooks Online integration for seamless accounting sync, and a mobile-responsive design for on-the-go invoicing. The platform was deployed on Google Cloud Platform with auto-scaling to handle growth.

The Impact

InvoicePro launched on schedule and acquired over 1,000 paying subscribers within the first year. The platform processes thousands of invoices monthly with 99.9% uptime. The multi-tenant architecture has proven highly efficient, keeping infrastructure costs low while supporting rapid user growth. The client has since raised additional funding and continues to expand the platform's capabilities.
